Three competitions of the International Army Games are launched at Brest Fortress

The opening ceremony of Polar Star, Confident Reception and Steel Highway international competitions of the VIII International Army Games, in which teams from 14 countries will take part, was held at the Brest Fortress-Hero Memorial Complex in the Republic of Belarus.

Major General Leonid Kasinsky, Chief Assistant to the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Belarus, and Major General Vadim Denisenko, Commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, took part in the ceremony.

Russian Armed Forces are represented in all three competitions held in the Republic of Belarus.

The competition will be held as part of the 8th International Army Games in the Republic of Belarus from 15 to 26 August. Teams from Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Vietnam, Venezuela, Iran, Cameroon, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Mali, Syria, Sudan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will take part.
