The Tall Ships Races 2024 event offers 15–25-year-old youths the chance to experience a unique sailing adventure in July 2024!

28.12.2023
The Tall Ships Races sailing event offers youths the chance to be a part of the ships' crews as a trainee in events hosted around the world.

The City of Turku supports this youth sailing ideology by offering fifty 15-25-year-olds the chance to participate in the event's sailing sections. You don't need previous sailing experience to participate - an unbiased attitude and the willingness to learn new things and to be a part of an unforgettable experience is enough!

You can apply to three different sections: Helsinki-Tallinn, Tallinn-Turku, and Turku-Mariehamn. Out of these three sections only Tallinn-Turku is competitive sailing. The other two are Cruise in company sections, which are not competitive. For people under 18 years old, only positions on the Turku-Mariehamn section will be offered.
