CLAY COUNTY - Permit work requires temporary closures of all lanes on I-435 near the NE Barry Road Bridge Overpass at Mile Marker 49.0 in Kansas City. The Kansas City Police Department will assist with traffic control with temporary rolling stops. Work will begin at approximately 7 a.m. on Sunday, May 19. This closure will last for 15 minutes or less. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
