Single-lane traffic restriction in place on Route 2022 (Juniata Valley Road) from White Bridge Road to Campbell Hill Road, Blair County, starting May 1

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has implemented a single-lane traffic restriction, controlled by temporary signals, on Route 2022 (Juniata Valley Road) in Blair County, beginning May 1, 2024.

Motorists can expect minor delays of five (5) minutes or less on the section of Juniata Road between White Bridge Road and Campbell Hill Road.

PennDOT initiated the traffic restrictions in response to roadway slide in the area brought about by flooding. PennDOT is currently working to notify the local school districts and their transportation companies, as well as borough and township officials of the traffic restrictions.
PennDOT will continue to monitor the situation and provide further details as they become available. There is no timetable for repairs.
Motorists are encouraged to "Know Before They Go" by checking conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts.
