SLAF doused fire at Ella area

The Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) deploying a Bell 212 helicopter conducted Bambi Bucket Operations and doused a sudden fire erupted yesterday (23 July) in the Ella area of Badulla district in response to a request from the Disaster Management Centre in Colombo.

The SLAF sources stated that its fire engines and skilled firefighters were also mobilized as ground support for the operation.
