Italy participates in “It’s Time To Act – A Nature Film Festival in Vietnam”

"It's Time To Act - A Nature Film Festival in Vietnam" is the first environmental film festival featuring international and local environmentally themed films on sustainability and harmony with nature in Vietnam.

The festival takes place from 23 September to 7 October 2022, against the backdrop of the United Nations General Assembly, joining the framework of international activities during the Climate Week 2022.

It will feature films, documentaries and short films (all with subtitles in Vietnamese) from Europe, Latin America and Vietnam. All screenings will be open free for the public.

"It's Time To Act - A Nature Film Festival in Vietnam" intends to help framing discussions around what a sustainable future looks like, in collaboration with institutions, civil society, individuals and the environmental community across three continents to pool one message: Only One Earth.

The Italian animated movie "Trash - The Legend of the Magic Pyramid" by Francesco Dafano & Luca Della Grotta will be screened as follows:

*Hanoi: Friday 30/09 at 19:00 at Casa Italia (18 Le Phung Hieu, Hoan Kiem)*

*Ho Chi Minh City: Friday 30/09 at 19:00 at UOM ArtHub (42/58 Hoang Hoa Tham, Binh Thanh)*

The screening of "Trash" is also part of the initiatives held under the 2022 edition of the Italian Sustainable Development Festival ("Festival dello Sviluppo Sostenibile").

Organized by the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and, the Festival intends to raise awareness of Italian society towards climate change and the themes of the 2030 Agenda.
